A guided workflow
Add your business identity, address, tax and payment information once, then reuse it on future documents.
Select an existing client or create a record with the billing details needed for the invoice.
Add descriptions, quantities, rates and applicable tax information, then review the calculated totals.
Check invoice number, dates, client information, line items, tax treatment and payment details before sending.
GST information
The exact fields depend on the transaction and current rules. A typical tax invoice may include supplier and recipient details, GSTIN information where applicable, a unique invoice number and date, item descriptions, HSN or SAC details, taxable values and GST amounts.
For transactions within the same state, tax may be represented through CGST and SGST. Interstate supplies commonly use IGST. Exempt supplies, reverse-charge situations, export transactions and other special cases may require different handling.
Software can make invoice preparation more consistent, but the issuing business remains responsible for selecting the correct tax treatment and keeping accurate records.
After creation
